What's nice here in FLA is that the bags serve as big buckets to let the flotsam and jetsam from the ponds settle before pumping. It helps a little. But the water is still a pump nightmare.”

“Shopping bags are great for just about everything. I always have a few in my pack as well as a lawn and leaf bag. I use the shopping bags as simi-waterproof stuff sacks for odd things, I put my shoes in them to keep the tent clean, for trash...all kinds of things. A water proof stuff sack is a great bucket too as well as a washing machine on longer hikes.”
