Before a hike...
Anybody else get them? I've got them so bad now I feel sick.

Is that why you got up so early, Bit? Couldn't sleep?

No, I got up early to come in early, so I can leave early. Didn't have any trouble sleeping at all. Well, I didn't really sleep much after 4:00, but I was planning to get up at 5:00 anyway.

Yah, hopefully they will come out. My hiking camera is slowly biting the dust. Been dropped too many times.

But that's why I got a cheap one!

One Inch Wang know how you feel. I feel same way everytime I get in bed with woman.

One Inch Wang, you can't hide by changing threads.

You won't have to worry about getting in bed with a woman where I'll be sending you.

Geez, Bit. It's like a virus spreading...

If it's any consolation Bit, HPM totalled the led display and the ability to change features on his brothers' digital camera. Dropped it on a pointed rock. I cleaned the debris from the inside of the camera. It was neat seeing how the led functioned, once. I was suprised how much fine sand made it into the case seeing as the camera was sealed into a carrying case at the time. It lasted 5 years with good results.

Ouch treebait, that does suck. My hiking camera is a cheap 35mm model. The door hinge is partially broken, but it will still close and seal. Probably a couple more drops though, and that'll be it.

Do not worry, fair citizens. I will bring that evil doer One Inch Wang to justice and he will bother you no more.

I had the total heebie-jeebies when the giant spider that lives behind the water heater decided to come out for a visit. Sweet bejesus, that thing scared me! It's about 4 inches across, black and really fuzzy.

Yes, the excitement and anticipation of One Inch Wang's reign of terror finally coming to an end. I have been on his trail for many years now, and I am about to finally spring my trap.

Always get the jitters before a trip.

Always.

It doesn't help that I've done minimal packing this time. I do have a good selection of dehydrated food this time though. But the rain is worrying me a little.

OH. This used to happen a lot with me as well. You are excited and can't wait to get out.

The morning of the Savage Gulf trip, I did not eat a thing. My stomach was in knots and nothing would have stayed down.
