Oh and tilt, before you get all hitoric on us (your referrence to Pierre l'Enfant). Keep in mind some facts about Pierre...he was nuts for one. A very wealthy landowner in pre DC built a home and farm where Pierre wanted one of his roads to go. So he had the house torn down. It jsut turns out that the homeowner was a well connected fella who was friends with the committee in charge of Pierres employment, needless to say he was fired and took his prints and went home to his lover. A memeber of the Swedish(I believe) consulate who treated Pierre as a fool. He kept Pierre locked in two rooms of the estate sorta like cinderella. To top it off Pierres lover then used all Pierres money and Pierre was left alone and broke. If thats who you are using to support any of your claims then go ahead. Not very compelling though.
