I wore shorts, golf shirt, and flip-flops to work today. A GC called to see if I could look at rebar on an elevated pour this afternoon. I told him yes, but I had to run home to change first and told him why. I'll be getting there around 5. He said no one would be around and to come in shorts. He said no flip flops, that they had to be leather (OSHA). I told him, "My flip-flops are leather." He replied that he'd cut me slack, but I had to wear real shows with leather. I keep job visit shoes in my truck, but he thought I was serious when I told him I was bringing leather flip flops.

I'm going to walk in his job trailer with them on to see what happens.”
