Bush Kills Dozens – Many More Threatened

“I have this big rhododendron that has crowded out my hostas, killing a bunch of rare ones. The way it’s growing, I’m afraid it will do the same thing to the other plants near it.

Can I prune the roots or is it best to transplant the others to a new location?”

“If you transplant the others, the MUST be given the right of return.”

“Can you dig up the rhododendron and split it? This is what I do after plants have multiplied. Plant the other part in a nearby park or someplace where people can enjoy it.”
