This stuff is one of the best nutrition drinks I’ve ever tried. Birch let me try his and it is great stuff. It comes in tiny Kool Aid type packets but there isn’t all the sugar that makes Kool Aid and Gatorade too heavy. Each little packet has 1,666% of the daily recommended allowance of vitamin C and a bunch of other good vitamins. Takes only 6-8 oz of water per packet and it tastes great. I found it at Krogers back in the vitamin section for $10.99 for a whole case/package.

Thanks for the information. I am going to check that out today because I am going to the Olympics next week and it would be great to exchange gatoraid for something less heavy considering that my trip is six days. Six days worth of gatoraid is added pack weight that I don't need.

cool, I need to go and check it out. Would be a nice exchange for cristal light. Gatoraid is too heavy for me, so I don't even take it with me.

Gatoraid is never too heavy when you are dehydrated.

HPM - EmergenC is actually considred a better electrolyte/recovery drink w/ "eight times more Potassium than Gatorade."

Plus it has Vitamin C, Calcium, Magnesium... And, less sugar.

All that, and it taste better. Gatorade is really sweet. This is much more mild.

Hey... I wonder when www.backbackingdeals.com will start to carry it...

We like our sports drinks like we like our women!

Also, "midwives recommend it during labor." Looks like Kroger has a much better price, tho'...

HOLY FREAKIN' MOLY
I can't believe you posted this thread because I thought about posting a very same thread asking LeSubtil (or anyone else who've drunk the stuff) which flavor they like the most.

Here's the website

But I have yet to see it in the local grocery store.

Out of the ones I've tried, I like the lemon-lime the best. Raspberry is a close second.

I bought me some of that stuff yesterday. I payed 13.95 per box. All they had left was Tangerine. Not bad, definatelly worth taking on a hike/trip, even on my daily 6 mile runs.

Glad you let me know about this stuff.

Wow Budder! It's like we're psycic friends! I was really surprised to see Krogers carrying it because my Krogers sucks. I'm gonna see if my buddy will buy one flavor and me another, then swap half and half. The raspberry is even a bit fizzy. Haven't tried the tangerien or lemon yet.

I really liked the raspberry. Ordered some orange the other day. I'll report back on how that tastes after I get it.

names no joke
Try "Gookinaid" That's the guys name, Gookin. He developed the while having problems marathoning.
Blows gatoraid out of the water! There is even one with no taste. Mixes very quick. Comes in small, large bags and a tub.
His warehouse is just down the street from me so I go there, but it is sold in REI here in San Diego.
I've also used Emergen-C and liked it. Reminds me of "Fizzies" Any old farts out there remember those?

An Order Has Been Placed
I'll soon know soon if I like the Lemon-Lime flavor or not.

I tried Rasberry-flavor from LeSubtil, and frankly... I thought the drink tasted rank.
