Frickin' Rocks!
I just tried a new flavor, Grilled Chicken and Sausage Gumbo. It ruled. I can't find it in stores though, I only had a can b/c some of their P.R. guys came by my work today and gave us a whole case.

I imagine these soups dehydrate well? I'd like to dry some out for my backpacking trip next week.

Other favorites: Grilled sirloin and veggies, New England Clam Chowder (no substitute for the real deal in Maine, but still pretty good), Chicken with wild rice.

Pros: just heat and serve, relatively healthy, taste good, pretty filling, reasonable price.

Cons: Sodium and preservative content. Also contains MSG.

Chucky soup? Is that a sequel to the Child's Play movies?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not eating a soup made out of a maniacal, knife-wielding doll...

Well, I gotta hand it to you Violin. I searched 30 minutes for a Jane Curtin weekend update pic (Jane you ignorant slut), and here you find something way more obscure in 15 minutes or so.

How do you search for images? I want the cartoon image of the old guy in a wifebeater t-shirt, sitting over the keyboard, cig hanging out of his mouth. Figured it would go well on my profile.

I think Benson did one some years ago.

Any ideas?

I thought that this was about a painter who painted some of Campbell's soup cans on canvas. One place was selling the paintings for $100 each. In a store across the street a merchant put soup cans in the window and advertised to come buy the real thing for 33 cents each.

The artist is now dead and those soup can paintings are worth 6 digits each on the market.

I'll let you do the research for the artist's name, if interested. I just heard the story on the radio this morning.

Correct, Donman. It was Andy Warhol. Yes, treebait, that was why a radio program about him was on the air.

http://www.artchive.com/artchive/W/warhol.html
Warhol's thirty-two soup cans are about nothing of the kind. They are about sameness (though with different labels): same brand, same size, same paint surface, same fame as product. They mimic the condition of mass advertising, out of which his sensibility had grown. They are much more deadpan than the object which may have partly inspired them,
