Trail Talk Fight Club

“so im listening to the commentary track to one of my all-time favorite movies, fight club. im listening to the one by the screenwriter and the novelist of the book, jim uhls and chuck paluhniak, respectively, and one of the first things that is mentioned is that the genesis for fight club was on a backpacking trip on the pacific crest trail. how cool is that?!? paluhniak got in fight with some campers right next to him cuz they were really loud and obnoxious, and he came to work the next monday with a massively beatup face, but everybody acted like nothing was wrong. so he figured if you looked bad enough, nobody would ask what you were doing cuz theyd be afraid to find out. my favorite movie and my favorite activity are linked. kick ass!”
