divinity: depends on the weather. I make sure I have both in the car though, warmer cloth and lighter cloth.

I normally always pack a pair of long underpants, so if it gets chilly I am safe. the convertibles are good. i NORMALLY don't leave without my rain gear.”

“Stay warm. Stay dry. Stay well fed.

Take along a set of clothes that you only wear in camp. That way you can change out of your sweaty hiking clothes and put on something dry. Take the opportunity to clean up a bit too. You'll be warmer and dryer in camp. It also gives you a chance to air out your hiking clothes.

Also, warm footwear for in camp is a good idea.”

“Never get your boots wet.!!!! I found that out the hard way. Also get those toe warmers that you can buy for about $.99 for a pair. They last between 4-6 hours and get really hot :)”
