Revenge of the DWR trip

“Time to start thinking about giving this trip a date.
It kicked my butt last time, but now I'm ready for some REVENGE!

Kind of trip: kayaking/canoeing/camping

Miles: 20 miles in 2 days

“Well....that last trip really stunk. It was absolutely horrible. No fun at all.

So when are you thinking of doing this?”

“I might even hold off till Oct. that would be a great time to go. with the tress changing colors and less crowds
water would be warm”

“I should still be around in October.

“it may or we can get lucky and it will be warm. the water will still be warm by then. Oct is a great time to go on the water”

“The changing leaves will be nice. The water was cold when we went the last time so I suspect it will be even colder in October. Wet suits?

“Mapleleaf October would be great I will probably have my kayak by then.

In past years I have canoed many times down the Delaware in October. It's a great way to enjoy the fall foliage”
