Michigan City to our east (about 20 miles) got 2 feet of snow 2 days ago, but it was all lake effect. We hardly got any.

“Crap, I may be staying home. Rear wheel drive Pathfinder with bad tires. No four-wheel drive. The most worthless thing my ex-wife made me buy and now I'm stuck with it.

“Sure thing John. Yikes! rear wheel w/out 4X drive. I would't risk it. I have been caught in white-outs on I-65 in the past. It ain't pretty.”

“Against better judgement and advice I made it to Carmel on Wednesday night. I got new tires and put 300 pounds in the back. Had no problems, but it was a harrowing 5-hour ordeal. Saw plenty of others bite it big.

Glad I went though and had a great vacation”

“I bet you had fun. I can remember visiting friends at U of Michigan, driving back in white outs.

Best advice I ever got was to take it slow and drive behind a semi.”
