“Brian, is there any chance I could borrow a backpack for a couple weeks? Jon has a Camelback ruck but not a decent backpack. And I do not plan on carrying more gear than he does. So I was hoping maybe we could borrow a pack from someone around here since we don't have time to go buy him a new one.”

“Sure thing. Why do you need it and what kind would you kneed?

I have a Gregory Palisades and a Gregory G pack. He can use either.

The Palisades is a large pack that can carry everything including the kitchen sink. The G pack is a smaller lightweight pack.

Is he back? I will bring both by when he arrives so he can choose.”

“He is back in country. He was here for a couple days and has just left again for Camp Atterbury to demobilize. He should be back here again on Sunday night we think. I'm not for sure about this, but I think he will use my pack and I would use yours. We are going to be doing a lot of car camping with a bit of hiking thrown in when we get somewhere that appeals to us. Most likely dayhiking, although we would both like to get 1 or 2 overnights in the backcountry in if possible somewhere.

I just got some labels and cases for CD's yesterday, so I am ready for some serious burning. There is something wrong with my computer though. Hopefully it opens tonight because I have to burn something for Crash Bang for this weekend.”
