“Hey Bit, I talked to my bro last night and he gave me the scoop on the land purchase down at the fiery gizzard. Apparently, it is not a done deal and could not happen at all. The gov gave the park 2 million dollars and they are trying to purchase the land on the plataeu and part of the pvt property in the gorge, but the people who own it are still deciding if they want to sell. He said that the man is ready to sell to the park, but his wife doesnt for some reason. He thinks that they will probably find out for sure whether or not they will get it in the next 6 months or so.”

“OK, well, I guess we need to just hope for the best. The money is otherwise earmarked for the park, or if they cannot buy the land, will they have to give it back to the Feds?

“I dont think they would have to give it back - from my understanding they can use it how ever they please, but purchasing this land is their #1 priority. I guess if they dont get the land than 2 million dollars can go a long way for other projects.
