“I know that this sounds unbelievable but 2 of my brothers who have always put hell raising ahead of such things as basic needs have pulled their own teeth. A childhood friend of mine who is a dentist says that when visiting our old home town he was once cornered by a mutual friend who asked him for some of his worn out extraction tools. Seems he could handle the one's in front but the back teeth were hard to get at. No kidding.”

“yeah, i see that all the time, people are uncomfortable with someone who is different. when i have a couple come to my register where one of them is challenged, i always converse first with the one who is challenged in case they are the ones making the financial decisions. when there are parents in the store with a challenged child, i always stop and admire the child just like i do all children, because they generally do not get that from other people. what is sad is to see is how grateful they are, because other people don't treat them as they should be treated. they should be treated just like we treat everyone else; like we want to be treated, with heart.”
