Criteria For Ignoring

“I've gotten a little carried away with this ignore function. When back and deleted a few ignores from my list.
Got me to thinking what should be the criteria for such an action.

My criteria:
1. Nasty hurtfull trolls
2. Political hacks that can't discuss an issue without personal attacks and haven't been on a trail in years.
3. Bomb throwers. The posters that start a thread just to still up hate, and then sit back a watch.

The funny or just booring trolls will stay for me.

What's y'alls criteria?”

“Mostly just the nasty trolls, the ones who like to foul a good thread with their garbage. The political ones tend to stay on the political threads. I ignore those, and the threads started by your #3 category.”

“Believe it or not I don't have a single troll on my list. As Mutt pointed out you can just skip the bs posters. Normally when I read threads and posts I read by posters, not topics. There are soem people here who I haven't read any of their posts in months. I do still like the feature though. My list is mostely regulars who drivle on and on endlessly in an attempt at intellectual masterbation, cut and pasters, and people who seek advise on what they should do with their lives.”
