hmmmmmmmmmmm
As I browse TT today I notice a pattern. Seems like everyone (myself included with this thread) wants to talk about ignoring people.

I find it humorous as to how many threads there are with folks posting lists and the like. How ironic that soooo many TTers griped about the threads started by trolls nad the lack of hiking threads, and now I have to put on hip waders to get through the "people I have ignored"style threads. I hope all these threads benefit Matt.

This whole giddiness with ignoring TTers reminds me of a junior high popularity contest. Ignore away but I dont think everyone needs a thread to post their lists one. Lets consolidate and save some bandwidth. I hear that it is being added to the Federal Endangered Species list.

Something must be messed up with the site. All I saw of your post is an x and something about "you are ignoring all posts by this user" or something.

I've also noticed there are too many threads on this topic. I think I'll start a thread about this trend.

When I was a kid and got my first bicycle at Christmas, I was so stoked that I had to tell all my friends about it, as they did to me about whatever they got.

Same thing with this brilliant new feature.

Since you posted that, does this mean I can skip the yearly mandatory sexual harassment refresher at work?

I guess you have so many ignoring you that you get them confused with who isn't.

Thanks birch. It just occured to me that it's also like these trolls are screaming. And though their lips are moving, I hear nothing. Only sweet, sweet silence.

I like the whole ignore thing- Sure, we're going to see all these threads about it 'cos it's new like Artex said. Not long before this, it seemed a lot of people were complaining about the trolls- Now, no one really has a right to complain about trolling anymore.
Let's see how long it takes for people to complain about something else-

Hey Mr. Nasty. Just in case you are ignoring Artex, he says you smell.

ps. this is the type of post that will be the next thing people will complain about.

Isn't Artex like the Fart King of TT?

TT Survivor?
this could have some real potential. What if Matt kept track of how many people ignored a poster, and when they reached "x" they got banned from TT?

I'm pretty sure the whole idea was to cut down on the requests to ban objectionable posters.
