I got the 5500 version of this. Lots of room, a little heavy but, so far so good. Fits great. I like it.

I showed this pack to a friend of mine who wants to move beyond dayhikes. i could not find a weight though. Anyone know?

Currahee..it's around 5 lbs empty..i have the telluride and it's 7lbs empty...i'm tempted to get this just to have a backup back or spare for friends..the suspension and durability are great on these packs..i figure this is a 1-2 years old discontiued item

I have the 5400 redcloud and it has worked out well on my last two trips. I could have gotten a lighter pack, but I like the feature of having external pockets.
