Most of PA's trails are located on the 2,000,000 acres of state forest land. as you know, the state forest is formulating a new management plan. use the site below to draft online comments. please encourage: buffer zones around trails, established trailheads, limit ATV trails, increase natural and wild areas, limit the construction of new roads, limit gas drilling.

thanks, we need to make our voices heard.

Also The Keystone Trails Assoc. has their annual meeting near Lebanon this year instead of western central PA. I think it is Oct. 9 or something like that.

This is what I said.
I think that it is very important to improve buffers zones in areas that are for wildlife & limit ATV use in State Forests.I also think that it is important to make more wildlife areas. The makeing of new trailheads with better access to them would also be a + and please limit the GAS DRILLING!!!!!!!Also it is very important to me the roads be lmited also in state forests I want to see forest and nice hills not roads and have to smell gas in the air.

I have done lots of backpacking in State Forests and National Forests in Pa it is a great state with lots of wild and free land to go backpacking in so I urge you to please keep what I have said in the back of your mind.

Thank you
