The good and the bad

“the good news is my eldest daughter was just accepted into The Art Institute in PA.
the sad news is she starts college :(
I am so happy for her, but so sad.
It will be strange having her in college. I guess I still think of her as a little girl.
But she is someone I respect and admir.”

“My daughter swore that she would never stay in this RURAL area. Well guess what? A husband & baby later, she is moving into her home town. They just sold their house in a neighboring town & moved in (my house) last night. Their rented house will be available (2 blocks away) in a few weeks. They will rent until their new home is built.
Of course they've taken over my house & computer. Toys EVERYWHERE. All my firewalls & ad blockers are down for her masters courses. Jeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........”
