“I am going to try to make it the only thing that is stopping me is if my boss becomes a compleat dick but if that happens I will take my vacation and go down to Fl for a week and backpack my ass off.

“CMB.... if you want to come to Yellow River again, I can take you to a different part of the forest. Still no Mississippi river views, but you get to see the broad valley of Yellow River and a cool old settler's cabin on a bluff. I could send you a pic. It's in the vicinity of where Lt. Jefferson Davis had a sawmill while he served at Fort Crawford in Prairie ummmmm... I think you called it Prairie du Chicken. LOL!

In fact, I am contemplating setting up some kind of canoe/backpack trip on either Yellow River, the Upper Iowa or the Root River this summer. phhhhhhhhhhht!! Like anyone would come here to do that! Well, that's OK...”

“I think the high was around 74 today here in Orlando. My daughter and I were walking on Ormond Beach in shorts and no shoes when the sun set this evening.

Then again - we could have another cold snap where temps dip into the 20's.”
