“Greeting from Sunset Beach, NC! Thanks for the birthday wishes. Yup, I turned 34......eeer, I mean 43. The mind is going and I've lost my whatchmacallit. Oh well, I have Geo around to make me feel young. Thanks babe! hehe

The weather is incredible here. I take long walks at dawn with the turtle people to identify new nests. During the evening, we patiently sit around the loggerhead nests and wait for the "boil" to begin. The boil is when the sand starts to move due to the hatching turtles below the surface. Some of the nests are 10 days overdue, so we should see some activity tonight. I'm going to be a turtle mama!!

By the end of the evening, they were thinking up their own beach names. Very funny. I will name one of the babies in your honor.
