“Yep. Polar animals are a lot worse; polar bear's liver is extremely toxic. Husky dogs' liver is also toxic. Douglas Mawson (Antarctic explorer) almost killed himself and did kill one of his compatriots because they were eating husky liver.”

“Cow's liver is okay though. They don't eat any meat, so there's no concentration of Vitamin A, which is what makes the liver toxic in predators.

Personally, I prefer calf's liver though. It hasn't spent a lifetime filtering the crap out of a cow's bloodstream.”
