Fried gizzards...boy that's good stuff.

It's been a really long time since I've had to eat that kind of crap. I think I need to buy some and feed it to my kids with some turnip greens the next time they complain about dinner.

55 posts and no one mentioned ACDC? ACDC Live is perfect road music for me.

acdc...
omg...they SUCK!!!! along with Metallica, and any other wanna be metal bands...sheesh...bunch of big hair no talent idiots.

I remember Kansas could really rock and was the loudest concert I ever went to...Tower Theatre...

I saw "crak the sky" with them too. And I like Spirit. Dr Sardonicus...great album...

And ANYTHING ANYTHING by floyd, elp. best vocalist...Greg Lake...and a fair bassist too...and Keith Emerson...and Carl Palmer...nuff said...true muscians...not wanna bees. and YES...can';t touch the quality of the musicianship in YES or ELP or even the old linup of Genesis...Seconds out is my favorite live album...acdc blows next to Genesis.

Immigrant Song is a good pick and so is Chili's Floyd pick. I associate all road trippin' w/ the music of U2 and Dire Straits. Those were my Dad's favs. Oh, and Bread . . . not that it's very "road trippish," but he picked that alot too.

stikmon, I did read your mind. Sure, I'd like to hike Fierry Gizzard. Since you're like a gazillion miles away I wasn't just getting a little static on the connection.

I live about 4 hrs from Fierrry Gizzard, but have never been. It'll probably be January before I can go, but I'll give it a try.
