Headed out on an overnight with 40 lbs???? of gear and a partner. He forgot the ditty bag with matches and lighter. I ate poptarts with my wine. He ate dry lipton noodles. Good thing we had the wine. Learning, I have my spreadsheet gear lists and I carry everything needed to be self-sufficient. With the lighten-ing efforts, I've still reduced the load to 3? lbs for a weekend, including wine.” 11:47:41 AM 8/26/03
