Todd Rundgren - Something/Anything” 11:17:47 AM 9/24/03 “Tom, are you saying you find fault with the heartfelt harmonies of "I'm All Out of Love, I'm So Lost Without You..... la, la, la" and that if you were stranded on the Red Planet, it wouldn't calm your jittery nerves? (God help me if I wasn't punning on that one, lol!) BTW, Strat and Tom, I go back before Bad Company to Paul Rogers and Simon Kirke's original band, Free. It's unfortunate that Free's lead guitarist, Paul Kossoff, having successfully kicked smack, managed to electrocute himself with his guitar (and you thought that such a death was an urban legend). He had a distinct style that I really appreciated. I also thought Free's bassist, Andy Fraser, was pretty good, though he apparently had a falling out with Rogers and Kirke. Most folks only remember Free for "All Right Now" off the Fire and Water album.” 11:20:34 AM 9/24/03 “Free,....I have the album with "Wishing Well" from high school days. Paul Kossoff is one of my favorites. His style is(was) spare. I like the way he said more with less. Paul Rodgers is one of my favorites too. "(God help me if I wasn't punning on that one, lol!)" Thank goodness!” 11:31:15 AM 9/24/03 “Ahhhhhhh, Robin Trower. Listened to him on the way to work this morning. Long Misty Days.” 11:39:11 AM 9/24/03 “Procul Harem "Whiskey Train"(featuring Robin Trower)” 11:41:05 AM 9/24/03 “trower kicks a$$! i can play "too rolling stoned" and "bridge of sighs", and "day of the eagle" on me strat.....” 1:12:39 AM 9/27/03
