Heirloom varieties for us. My favorite is the Cherokee Purple. It's delish. We do grow Roma tomatoes for cooking. Anyone pickle those end of season green tomatoes? Really tasty.

THe variety that's growing the fastest right now is called "yellow stuffer." It's a hollow tomato, ready for salads or whatever you like. It's also really good for stir frying and light cooking.

Currahee, I don't eat pickle relish. It's green tomato relish for me! It's sooo good. Never had pickle relish until I was moved out of my folks house. As soon as I got a garden I asked for the recipe.
