A week from Saturday (9/13/03)

Im lookin to get out for a short overnighter a week from saturday(the 13th I think), and I was just gonna extend an invite to everyone. I had my eyes set on either the cumberland plateau or N. Ga areas, possibly Fiery Gizzard. If I do it (the Gizzard), I will probably be lookin at hiking out to Small wilds campsite on the gizzard trail Saturday, and comiing back sunday on the brown dog trail. If anyone feels like joinin we could try to get a shuttle up and runnin. Anyway, Im open to suggestions and my mind is far from made up as far as destination, so lemme know what you think.”

“Wish I could go fonsie, but the wife has that weekend penciled in for a sleepover for some of my kids' friends. She definitely needs my help then.

“I was just lookin at that ewker. That doesnt sound too bad. Are you still a maybe for that one? There is a chance I might try to get in alittle more mileage, or at least a slightly tougher trail. Does anyone know anything about the new additions up near Prentice cooper? My dad was tellin me about those a couple of weeks ago, but he was alittle sketchy on details.”

“Actually, Ive been holed up in Atlanta for alittle while now, so the N. Ga area would probably be alittle better. Your never too old as long as your young at heart...”
