"ignor this thread" feature

“If people want to ignor users on TT for whatever reason that's cool but I think Matt should put up a button to "ignor complete threads".
Trolls themselves don't bother me. I get sick of "threads" dealing with topics like politics, religion, trolls, etc.


Anybody else think this would be handy?

“On the main thread page you can look at either all categories or only one category. I have thought that it would be nice if you could chose which categories you wanted to view or not. For example - I might chose Trips, Gear, and the Places but leave off Genreal and Chatter.

That is one of the advantages of the *other site* is that you can visit the forums that interest you and ignore the annoying stuff.

By the way - this thread isn't really about backpacking - but it's administrative in nature so I guess that's ok.”
