ahhh, so it does work??
shoot, I have no brains for this stuff. after posting this thread, I was wondering how someone would explain how they did it...

well, don't worry too much about the "no u-turns" thing, that just means you can't turn around. I did have to use the entire maze though, I ended up all the way into the upper-right hand corner.

my best attempt at explaining it is to go further than you think you might have to so you can exploit right turns to go back on your path.

hihi, yeah I figured that, but I always get stuck at this one stupid spot.

Seams like I am running out of right turns. There must be one right turn I just keep on missing. nuts!!

I wrote it out in relation to which side of the maze you're moving toward- left means the left side of the maze, obviously not a left turn since you can't make them.

When you come to a place where you need to turn left, look to see how right turns can get you back to the same place.

haha, it worked. Now I can try again by myself. I just don't have the nervs for this stuff. I'll get real nervous. (old age??)

i figured that you had to go through certain spots twice to change a left turn into a right. I missed one turn somewhere, I still didn't check what turn I missed.

Thanks :D

Be the ball Danny.

I printed it out and penciled it backwards and after a bunch of circles finally popped out at the front.

I think once you have the idea - the second one is about the same as the first.

Ain't it weird how it seems impossible - and then - when you know the answer - it seems pretty simple?
Coop

that's exactally how I felt last night, I could not see any other right turns. Now it's simple. It's okay though... I slept good that night. :)

It felt weird figuring it out- I actually looked at it in terms of which keys needed to be hit in which order, then did the puzzle without even looking at it, just at the list of keystrokes.

I think we're all lab monkeys in some grad student's psych thesis.

This little puzzle is probably an interesting study in different peoples approaches to solving problems. Some - like me - because I knew there was no penalty to failing (other than not being able to be proud of my solution tie) I just kind of jumped in and made a number of quick attempts before realizing it was going to take a little more thought - then I went about it rather seriously. I would imagine some others would not touch the keys until they had thought quite a bit about it.

I, like Corporal Nasty, still want my piece of cheese.

...but the monkeys never think to let go of the peanuts and the hunters simply walk up to the trap and take the monkey...

okay, you're not all waiting for a piece of cheese from me now, are ya?? If you do, well you'll have to wait until next TC or something...
I'll bring the cheese, you bring the wine.
