“Has anyone used priceline? Is so - how'd it go? I'm thinking of doing a search for a cheaper flight but am nervous about using priceline.” 3:36:21 PM 9/09/03 “I've used it for groceries and stuff like that, Twinks. But, not for airline fares. I think you have to make some concessions for the flight that you may not be comfortable with..” 3:37:24 PM 9/09/03 “I've had pretty good luck with Priceline. If they reject your price you could come back with another day earlier or later, but change your price when you do. I put in a price of say $220 to leave on a friday and return Sunday to Tucson. They rejected it so I plugged in leaving Thurs. and they took it. i forgot to change my original price and I probably could have gotten it for $180-200.” 3:39:59 PM 9/09/03 “Cheaptickets.com has always worked for me.” 3:42:15 PM 9/09/03 “That is correct tree. If you are looking to book a flight Twinkle, try either orbitz.com or travelocity.com. I have used both sites in the past and have had good luck. Also, try directly with the airline. Sometimes I have been able to get even cheaper fares logging on to ATA.com. Just look all over. The problem with priceline is that you have to fly sometimes when they say. They may be able to get you a fabulous price, but it would be at a time you do not want to fly and you can on;y find out this after you have purchaced the airfare. If you don't mind me asking, where are you flying from and to?” 3:42:34 PM 9/09/03 “JFK to Istanbul” 3:46:26 PM 9/09/03
