I was on the O�Reilly Factor last night with guest host Laura Ingraham. The segment was based on the American Spectator article by Matthew Vadum where he accuses President Obama of �desecrating� 9-11 by turning the anniversary into a leftist holiday.









Over at the Free Republic, they�re having lots of fun with the idea that 9-11 should be a day of �Service and Remembrance� and taking pot shots at me.”

9/11 will be a raw nerve to lots of folks around here for a very long time. I doubt that there's a town within 50 miles of NYC that didn't lose someone that day. Most lost more than one.

Besides the pain of the friends and families of those who died, there are countless others who barely escaped with their lives that day. Some are only just now able to talk about it and many are dealing with survivor's guilt.

Try to be a just a little bit decent.
