Gave my Akto a bit of a test, up in Jasper a couple weeks ago. I had about six inches of snow on top one morning, then froze it pretty good.

It's almost impossible to get a bad pitch. The tie-outs at each end are a great system..... nice design. But, the one thing I did notice was that the center eyelet is the low point and froze into a nice little icicle.

The vents in the ends do a nice job. Too bad there wasn't a way to close them up, from inside the tent, when the wind picks up in the middle of the night.

All in all I'm pretty happy with this tent.

Now that summer is back on, here in Vancouver, I think I'll stay closer to home this weekend.
