This is supposed to be one of the best scotches out there but I haven't had it yet. My personally favorite is the 15 year old Dalwhinnie. Better than Macallans even.”

Macallans is smooth. No doubt about it. Very good stuff. But it doesn't have the taste or character of Dalwhinnie. Dalwhinnie is darker and more peaty. Just my personal preferences and observations.”

On the other hand I prefer a good wine. But Crown lasts a lot longer on the trail for the extended trips. :p”
