because it's the law, the state constitution says 80 days after the petetion is filed. however the law means nothing to liberal judges when protecting their govenor from the will of the voters. i can't believe you really think that a politically motivated and biased judgment(something you've admited) is perfectly fine and dandy. just liek the florida situation, dems are trying to change the rules midstream. why even hold elections? just let the judges pick our leaders.

I'll point out, again, that the burden of proof is on you to supply evidence that the court ruling was to protect Davis. I'll happily grant that the suit was politically motivated, but not the ruling.

The appeals court held that minority voters would be at a disadvantage on October 7th since voting machines in largely minority areas of the state were using ‘punch card’ voting machines. These are the same antiquated machines that caused the Great Florida Hanging Chad battle in 2000. Most affluent and largely Republican areas of the state have state of the art voting machines that cause far fewer voting errors that the punch card machines.

Clearly realizing he had gone too far Rush tried to pull one of his typical bait and switch moves. He said that it was really the Democrats and the Courts who were calling blacks and Hispanic stupid, and in a great show of RushBulls… said this was insulting to minorities. Problem is Rush no Democrat or court ever said that, and they certainly never said that it didn’t matter where or how many minority voting precincts since they were bused anyway. Every Democrat who knows about campaigns knows that 85% of minority voters walk or drive their own cars to vote.
