There's no need to be too worried about these, yet, Div. The depression in the Gulf isn't ever a TS.
The Weather Channel talks these things up for ratings.

Tropical Depression FOUR

We are on the 'good' side anyway, Div.
50 knot winds, piece of cake.

We have been blessed since katrina...this year i am taking all my family photos to my daughter in ohio just in case we get it bad this season. but the last thing we need is a hurricane with the oil spill

From what I can tell about the oil spill, 90% of the oil is in columns under the waters surface and is settling toward the bottom. While that alone causes a whole new environmental concern, the surface problem can become expoentially worse with one good storm brewing up through the Gulf.

Go ahead and wipe out the east coast. We don't need it anyway :)
