after seeing one in rei a few weeks ago and one on the trail this week i thought hey, i might take this seriously and -almost- bought one but the $169 price tag waved me off. i just can't pay that much for one of these. i guess i'll be bumming on my prolite 3 for a long time.

i am betting Big Agnes makes something cheaper that is just as "good" (whatever that means).

... to put this in perspective, for $20 more you can get off the ground entirely and purchase a HENNESSY HAMMOCK ULTRALITE BACKPACKER A-SYM... an entire hammock sleep system for what they want for this one sleeping pad. i almost checked out (campsaver has them if you want a neo air, btw) but just could not do it.

glad to see your alaska trip was such a great success this year. i know what hard work it is planning something like that. nice work, really.
