The deflowering of Nigal…

I was a shy boy. Some would say backwards. I had many girlfriends who though me weird throughout my teenage years. Yet there was one girl who captured my eye. Her name was Kelly. A somewhat brash yet appealing young woman. She was 17 and so was I. Always the shy one I played shy and she bit. I was irresistible to her. We partied together and she was always the playful one. She would slug me at parties and played coy. But I knew. Oh yes, I knew.

Then came the time of my senior year and the night that sweet Kelly would ask me the formal and serious question, “Will you go to prom with me?”. But of course I answered her.

The ensuing month before prom was a wondrous month of childish play and innuendoes that would end in a motel room on prom night. A stumbling, bumbling teen ager looking to make an impression. I can proudly say that that sexy young 17 year old became my first woman and my only wife of 16 years. Yes, I lost my cherry to the only woman in my life at senior prom.

No, I pretty much had the basics down by prom time. I was a stud by the night of question was at hand. Well, Ok, i drank too much and it was a few weeks after before "closing the deal".

“So, prom was interesting. There was of course the ex-boyfriend/girlfriend drama (but we came to prom as "friends") including a fist through some glass. There was a white-boy pimp daddy electric blue zoot suit, complete with blue snakeskin shoes. Very iteresting. Oh, and the powder blue tuxedo, with white tennis shoes and the ruffle shirt. And, then there were the students who arrived on a pontoon boat, on its trailer. It was quite interesting to watch the girls in heels go down the ladder.

“Prom time was quiet over here. Had one boy who has dated an OLDER woman (2 years ahead of him) for his 4 years of High School. He wanted to go somewhere for a "moonlight dance" His parents were in a panic until they called a guy at the local "Wealthy Retirement home" so the couple had an after dance, private dance complete with sparkling grape juice, finger food and peace and quiet. Unbeknownst to them two security guards kept watch and shooed away interlopers...Pretty cool I thought.”
