I think I'll do some stomping around tomorrow. I found a nice trail that's fairly close but you've got to time it to avoid the mountain bikers.”

“going to the Shenandoah with Bison and Pennsy. Going to do the Marshall Mtn loop and Devil's stairs.”

“I think I will take the kids geocaching Saturday. On Sunday, our company is holding it annual picnic at the baseball stadium.

AutoZone Park is one of the nicest facilities I have been in and is a great place to spend the afternoon with kids watching the game.”

“I might be doing some recon for my hike next weekend. I want to check on snow/ice conditions as well as water crossings. Hopefully I'll catch some trout too.”

“My daughter is coming from the other side of the state on Sat/Sun, but I'm going somewhere during the next week. I enjoyed the Boundary Waters so much that I want to jump right out there (anywhere) quickly before rigor mortis sets in.”

“I sure am! Fall Creek Falls with the family. Not bp'ing this weekend. Going again to bp last week of May with a friend. Its gonna be fun this weekend AND then too! Kids, Mommy and Daddy will be hiking this weekend. I'm gonna finally do the cable trail and see Piney Falls. If the weather is good, and my luck holds..... I may get over to Scotts Gulf for something short too.”

“It's our monthly PNWH sucker-the-newbies backpacking trip.
Actually we have it down now so we go backpacking every month near the 15th (5th month in a row...) and invite as many new memebers as we can. Keeps the blood fresh in the group.
And it is supposed to reasonably nice too...in the Central Cascades in Wa.”

“We are heading up near Packwood Lake. In the Goat Rocks Wilderness.
It has been such a warm spring there is almost no snow left below 5,000 ft in many parts of Wa.
I have been backpacking 4 times so far this year, plus snowcamping, and carcamping a couple times.
I just have to be out there ;-)”

“Not this weekend, but next. Doing an overnight in the Grand Canyon, at Horseshoe Mesa. That's down the Grandview Trail. Last time I went down that trail I broke my ankle. Hopefully I'll make it all the way down this time!”

“weekend officaly started for me. I'll be leaving early tomorrow morning around 5 to damascus for trail days. It won't be all hiking but I know I will be able to squeeze in at least one hike.”

“Gem tell everyone hello for me...I really wanted to come...I have wanted to do trail days ever since my first visit to Damascus....lovely little town...and the gear store has that old building smell that I love...I was upset about the 8 hour drive to Damascus,...and now will be driving 10 hours instead!!!”

“Yam, I am leaving tomorrow afternoon after work to go to Chattanooga. Two other people and myself are competing in a Sprint Race Sat morning. Then I head back home that afternoon. We will be doing 6 miles of mountain biking, then 5 miles of canoeing, then finish it up with 5 miles of running. Plus along the way they have mystery events that you have to do.

It will be fun, just hoping my knee holds up from the fall I took last Sunday.”
