BAMA” 4:39:28 PM 9/26/03 “opps, normally I wouldn't go back and fix my spelling but it should read meet my wife and I, not be my wife.” 4:51:24 PM 9/26/03 “I read what you meant BAMA. Let me know when you'll be in Vegas. Maybe.... No can do Wing. I'll be out of town.” 5:42:46 PM 9/26/03 “wingding - Sheep Pass is one of my favorite group camping spots. However, I will out-of-state that weekend for a reunion. I would love to go and try out my new tent trailer, but it will have to be another time.” 6:06:47 PM 9/26/03 “Phil: A new tent trailer - that sounds nice.” 10:54:04 PM 9/26/03 “Joshua Tree brings back many good memories. The desert stole a part of my youth.” 11:06:49 PM 9/26/03 “wingding - It is a used tent trailer. Haven't used it yet.” 3:54:27 AM 9/27/03 “but new to you” 8:22:37 AM 9/27/03 “I'll be busy turning 53 that weekend. But ifn ya do it again I'm wanting to try the desert.” 7:40:56 PM 9/27/03 “hey BAMA, are you planning on any stops along the way from Phoenix to Tombstone? you'll pass some nice places. Kartchner Caverns State Park is very impressive, a huge living cave that offers a walking tour. i think they've just opened up another room on the tour, which means i have to go back & visit again. darn! Tombstone won't take you too long - you'll miss Helldorado Days, which i've always wanted to go to. you should try to visit Bisbee, which is about an hour south of Tombstone, in the Mule Mountains. it's a very cool old mining town, and you can tour the Copper Queen Mine. i used to live in St. David, about 15 miles north of Tombstone. i love that whole area. start a thread about your visit to S. cali - you might be able to scare up some TT-ers for dinner or something.” 5:54:35 PM 9/30/03 “Thanks, I will try to make the cave. I would love to visit the old mining town but don't know if I'll have the time. I'll probally start a post soon. BAMA” 7:42:53 PM 9/30/03 “BAMA. let us know when you are out here. It would be great to meet some more TT'ers. Send me an email to wld257@aol.com and I will send you my phone number. Maybe a group of us can hook up. If it can be arranged.” 8:35:11 PM 9/30/03 “Oh yeah! I will be at JT with you guys... Want to climb something out there.” 8:36:43 PM 9/30/03 “we're in for the JT trip, too. i'll sign up on the Trips page, but i'll be bringing hubby & baby as well.” 9:28:03 PM 9/30/03 “WLD- whatcha gonna climb?” 9:38:54 PM 9/30/03 “Just signed on. And I have a National Parks Annual pass. Anyone care to carpool?” 1:54:43 AM 10/01/03 “Looking forward to trekking across an alluvial fan, scrambling over moon rocks, and tanglin' with the tumbleweeds. tekdude - high plains drifter. Gotta bring the tecate.” 2:14:29 AM 10/01/03 “Wish we could come, but it is too far south. Darn.” 9:26:37 AM 10/01/03 “I am not sure which peak to go for. Last time was Pinto Peak. Hopefully some of you JT veterans can suggest a good peak.” 6:51:33 PM 10/01/03 “There are about 20 people signed up, so it should be a good trip. I'm thinking about adding a second site for Saturday night.” 9:48:14 PM 10/02/03 “The high desert seems to conjure up this idea of a parched and cracked desert floor with a white washed skull in the foreground. It's hot out there. Of course, there's that slight desert breeze that picks up that brush and blows it across your view. A lizard scurries away and you hear a coyote howl in the distance.” 1:07:18 AM 10/03/03 “Then there's the high country. Ah, the pull it has on your soul. ”1:08:57 AM 10/03/03 “On the other-hand, one site will probably be enough. Nice visuals Tekdude.” 1:09:02 AM 10/03/03
