I know it's not "exactly" bp related but....
I'm starting to plan another trip abroad - this time with my eyes on a 2 week trip including stops in Prague(Czech Republic), Vienna (Austria), Bratislavia (Slovakia) and Budapest (Hungary).

There ae very cheap airfares going on right now but that would mean traveling in November - I'm thinking it might be too cold. Anyone know? The air fare sale ends today.

If not, I'm considering doing this in the new year - during the spring.

Anyone travelled in these places? Give me the low down if so!

PS - I miss bp'ing. I have not gone in what feels like a very long time. :(

Anyone up for a trip?

Twinks- you gave it less than 11 minutes to determine that nobody was up for a trip or anyone knowing if it was cold during the spring in Prague-Vienna-Bratislavia-Budapest.

you're looking at it being pretty cold, not worse than most of the northern US though, unless the wind comes in from Siberia.

One of these summers I want to go to Slovenia.

There is a national park in the north west near Austria called Mount Triglav(three peaks).

OK, here's the info...
My friend's Czech wife says:

She said it can be damp and rainy, which can be kind of unpleasant with the coolness.

The Weather Channel has average hi/lo temps. Here's the link for Prague.

He also said that when he was there (in Prague) in late Nov./early Dec. that he wore his heaviest jacket, and that thermal underwear was a good idea. Of course, he's from Alabama.
