JMT Photos

“Hi! I recently returned from an awesome 19 day adventure of hiking the John Muir Trail. I lugged around my camera and lots of film, and I've been randomly scanning the photos and uploading them to an online folder at Photo.net. “I really appreciate the kind words, but hey, you can't go wrong snappin' pretty shots in places like this! The scenery did all the work for me! Well, okay, I had to lug a tripod and bazillions of rolls of film for 211 miles, but so? Ha! I just made it back around to this site, I forgot how to get here, this is an active board, yaaa!

tekdude, the scanner I use is a Nikon Coolscan IV, and I guess the high altitude kept my Velvia cool enough!

PJ2, I did/am post(ing) a trip report, sorta, on another forum (Yellowstone Loon Chat Page), but mostly they were/are goofy comments, but I haven't really done a formal, organized trip report. My hikin' buddy and I are still workin' on that one, I still have lots of photos to scan.
