Dang! I couldn’t find the old thread. My pick for the week is a movie called Run Ronnie Run. It’s about a good old boy that gets arrested all the time so they give him a reality show where he travels the country getting arrested in a new town every week. It’s jam packed with the stereo typical white trash references. Yes, it’s stupid but it rocks. Joe Dirt fans take note!

“WOOOO! It’s time for a champagne jam!”

I saw two movies last night, Cabin Fever and Open Range. Cabin Fever sucked donkey balls. Save your money. Open Range was great. The scenery was awesome and it had a great story line. Two thumbs up.

"The Usual Suspects."

What a great flick! I watched it again the other day and it was still goof even knowing the end. Kevin Spacey is awesome. I especially liked American Beauty.

Wind Walker-

Did you watch the featurets with Cosner? He was talking about some guy that was supposed to be coming through with the funding for the movie but wasn’t. He called that guy every name in the book.

I watched Once Upon a Time in Mexico last night….save your money. It was so damn unbelievable and inaccurate. They even had this chick running around using a revolver with a silencer on it. Unbelievable!

I saw a funny movie called Lone Star Sate of Mind. It was funnier than hell. It's got the skinny guy from Road Trip and The New Guy in it plus John Melloncamp playing a hillbilly step father. A must see!

Hey Nigal! Was it on the same level as 'Joe Dirt'?

Well, nothing is on the same level as Joe Dirt but it's good. Think Texas hillbillies get mixed up in drugs and money and the whole time the main character is trying to figure out how he and his step sister will aford to run off to LA together.

"Hey Earl, ya ought not be kissin' yer sister like that."

I got Lord Of The Rings to watch...now I have to find the time to watch it.

I think it's about a foxy chick who is an award-winning gymnast by day and a XXX-rated movie star by night.

My Boss’ Daughter-

This is your typical situation comedy. He’s in charge of the boss’ house for the night and everyone comes over and #&%!$s the house up. Save your money.

Lost in Translation-

This movie was lost on me. It’s one of those movies with little dialogue and the actors have to convey their feelings and their situation through their acting. I normally love movies like this as long as they go somewhere. This movie went no where.

Radio-

This is just one of those great stories. The movie was well done and very accurate. Must see!

Boy thats good to hear - I just got back from Blockbuster with Radio. Almost got Out of Time but then I saw radio. Woulda got them both but the kids were busting the budget on me. Glad I passed on Lost in Translation.

Really? I wasn't really all that ecited about it because I thought we were going to get another Dances movie or an atempt at one and I ended up liking it very much. I liked how he struggled with having to kill others. Made him very believeable.

I thought about renting Boss's daughter but I haven't heard anything about it yet. I also wanted to rent Radio but they were all checked out. Instead we watched Cabin fever and then I watched Alex and Emma. Cabin Fever was good but I didn't like the ending. It was one of those endings for you to figure out what happens. Alex and Emma was also good, but definately a chick flic.

I liked "Open Range"...not as good as "Dances With Wolves" though. It had great open plains scenery.

"Catch Me If You Can" was great.

Can't wait for "Last Samurai" to come out on DVD. Great film.

"Dear Indugoo..." LOL! His letters to Indugoo were the best parts! The rest was just sad, sad chit.

Watched Second Hand Lions last night. I don't know why this movie got such bad press. I thought it was a great movie. Had great actors, a great story line and the direction was good. WTF?

I watched and enjoyed Catch Me last night. Good stuff.

Fri night I watched Second Hand Lions. It was sort of a cliche' feel good movied, but I still enjoyed it. Duvall's humor reminded me of some of the funny stuff from the Lonesome Dove book that his character did.

Watched "Holes" Saturday night. The book is great, even though it's for young adults it has a great story, and is well written. The movie was almost as good. The screenplay was written by the author. Just seemed to miss a few of the connections in the movie. I'd recommend it....4 1/2 stars.

Gili was a turd. It was a bad story peppered with strong sexual content. I kept getting the feeling that the whole damn movie was made just so people could hear JelloButt say stuff like, “If asked you right now if you want me to suck your cock, what would you say?”. I’d say I didn’t give a shlt and get a real storyline!

I wanna see Gothica too. I heard it was awesome!

Whale rider is a good if little cutsey movie.

Sexy Beast - not quite as interesting at the title would suggest, but Ben Kingsley manages to portray perhaps the scariest persona ever.

I now want to see house of sand and fog. (Is that title correct?)

We saw Lost in Translation this weekend. You are right . ..it doesn't havea strong driving plot . .. and mwas more of an atmospheric movie but I liked it.

I thoguht Murray did a good job . . .and Scarlett Johanson has amazing lips.
