I've had it for a month or two - so far so good!” 10:27:02 AM 9/07/05 “this golden girls is in my queue: ”10:27:49 AM 9/07/05 “Steeling band width makes Baby Jesus cry...” 10:37:51 AM 9/07/05 “saw the grudge this weekend. much better than i expected. if you liked the ring you'll like the grudge. very similar, maybe not quite as good. i give the grudge an 8” 10:46:21 AM 9/07/05 “i give the grudge a negative 8...puke...the ring was bad @ss...i think they just gave up after making it and thought they didn't have to put anything into their future movies, they think they can just ride the coat tails for the ring...same thing for the ring 2 and dark water...no were near as good as the first ring” 10:51:26 AM 9/07/05 “I've seen the Japanese version of the grudge but not the American. I've been wanting to get The Eye which is a Japanese horror film about a girl who gets a cornia transplant and starts seeing dead people.” 10:53:22 AM 9/07/05 “i've seen the japanese version of the ring but not the grudge...reading subtitles sucks LOL...especially in a horrer movie, you miss all the good stuff” 10:55:03 AM 9/07/05 “I went to the intelliflix website. Looks good. Anyone messed with that one?” 11:07:30 AM 9/07/05 “Anyone have intelliflix? $99/year, unlimited movies, 3 max at a time...I don't know how many movies you are limited to in your queue, but I have 15 right now...and I can put the movies in the order I want to get them and rearrange it any time. I've had it for a month or two - so far so good!” twigeater 11:27:02 AM 9/07/05 take me off ignore, you silly head! :)” 11:09:38 AM 9/07/05 “what the??!!...my picture got screwed up...i hate technology” 11:12:26 AM 9/07/05 “And it hates you back Hebert...” 11:13:50 AM 9/07/05 “twig - you were the first person I'd ever heard mention it. I guess I should have made it clear I was curious for more feedback.” 11:31:25 AM 9/07/05 “okay, I forgive you. :)” 11:34:30 AM 9/07/05 “I might give it a try. I used to use Netflix but never really watched enough movies to justify the cost. $99 a year isn't bad.” 11:43:42 AM 9/07/05 “I know what you mean - when cable went up to $50/month not too long ago, I quit that and started looking for a DVD place. I'm terrible at returning movies to the video store. I hate making monthly bills, so when I found the $99 deal, I took it. BTW - it's actually around $104 because they tack on tax. I get an e-mail when they're sending a DVD and when they receive a DVD.” 11:52:59 AM 9/07/05 “Do they have foreign films, nc-17, and tv series?” 11:54:44 AM 9/07/05 “Appears so.” 11:55:40 AM 9/07/05 “I'm terrible at returning movies to the video store i hear ya twig, when we lived in a small town we got so bad that there wasn't a place we could rent from because of late fees LOL i'm gonna check out that site...i just figured it up and i'm paying $240.00 a year for netflix for the same thing” 11:56:39 AM 9/07/05 “Nigel - wow - we ended up with the same movies! I had a very hard time with "Layer Cake". What language were they speaking? I hate to be provincial but when I only understand one word out of 25 I have a hard time following a story. Come to think of it, I had the same problem with "Lock, Stock...". Kung Fu Hustle was really a hoot. Watch out for that Landlady!!! Anyone seen Eulogy? Let's put the "fun" back in disfunctional!” 11:58:46 AM 9/07/05 “I saw Layer Cake and I loved it. The lead charactor was cute too. I rented out another one of his movies, but never got around to watching it.” 12:27:10 PM 9/07/05 “Deranged A great independent film about a guy who gets revenge for his wife's rape. Most of the movie is just two guys in a house but I is very suspenseful and well acted.” 9:29:15 AM 9/08/05 “Dude, you HAVE to see this movie called Vulgar. Very twisted and a great ending. A must see! http://www.netflix.com/MovieDisplay?movieid=60022955&trkid=181036” 9:43:29 AM 9/08/05 “ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!...i'm sure i'm setting myself up here but i've got a clown thing :(” 10:00:18 AM 9/08/05 “lol, I remember going to the circus when I was 13, and being just old enough to realize that the clown was trying to impress two hookers in the crowd...” 10:10:16 AM 9/08/05 “Best rental for me this year: Shawn of the Dead Man, I love that movie.” 11:54:11 PM 9/08/05 “Shawn of the Dead was awesome. I love the British humor much more than the base crude American humor. Except for the stupid Monty Python trash.” 7:55:57 AM 9/09/05 “Shawn was great...whatch what you say about Monty :|” 8:50:16 AM 9/09/05 “Go on, Bors, cut 'is 'ead off... That said, I thought Shaun of the dead was funny too.” 8:52:09 AM 9/09/05 “The Life of Brian was great but you can keep the rest. "How shal we fuk off oh Lord?"” 8:52:14 AM 9/09/05 “i got to see that on the big screen a couple months ago...we have a historical theater here that shows older movies” 8:57:36 AM 9/09/05 “did nigal just call monty python trash???” 9:40:52 AM 9/09/05 “Yes. Forget roofing Stovey's house, we should go to Nigal's and brainwash him. Or maybe just beat him.” 9:46:33 AM 9/09/05 “guys guys guys...nigal's comedic intellect is much higher than the average bears...the mundane drivel of monty python is beneath sir nigal I am Sir Nigal, Comedic Genius last edited: 9/09/05 9:51:41 AM” 9:49:27 AM 9/09/05 “Don’t get a complex guys. If somethings funny I like it. If it sucks and it’s not funny it’s Python. LOL! Benny Hill was better than Monty Python.” 9:56:30 AM 9/09/05 “Benny Hill was a riot!” 10:07:53 AM 9/09/05 “Benny Hill was great! Some of those English shows are a riot. One of my favorites was one called "Allo, Allo" from long ago. I got my mother hooked on checking out English shows because she liked that one so much. She loves "Are You Being Served" and "Keeping Up Appearances" which I've watched a few times and is very funny.” 5:20:35 PM 9/09/05 “I think Python is bad too. Sorry folks... I saw a fab French movie the other day. It's by this Polish named guy who did a series (in order) movie titles: Blue White Red I saw Blue and got out of sync by seeing Red (ha ha) next. I don't necessarily think it's necessary to see them in order, but Red has all the characters from the 3 movies in it at the end. Like I said, not that big o deal. But I loved Red. Fab movie with an interesting plot that sort of unfolds and comes together at the end. Plus a very likable heroine.” 5:29:52 PM 9/09/05 “I just got around to reading this email from Netflix: 'The U.S. Postal Service has let us know that postal delivery to your address has been interrupted due to Hurricane Katrina. All of us at Netflix extend our sympathies to you and your loved ones during this difficult time. Sincerely, The Netflix Team' This a great! I had three DVDs due to arrive the Mon of the hurricane and one due a couple of days later. None came due to no mail and Netflix hasn't said anything about them. I hope the PO returned them to Netflix. What a great company! Another reason this is so great is I no longer have a DVD player. Both my DVD Recorder and Player when under salt water in the hurricane storm surge.” 10:47:40 AM 9/10/05 “Kevin, welcome back to TT =) we missed ya, just glad you are ok last edited: 9/10/05 10:53:07 AM” 10:52:08 AM 9/10/05 “benny hill over monty python? i fart in your general direction the television show was much better than the movies, btw. in case anyones opinion of monty is based on the movies” 10:59:16 AM 9/11/05 “Finally caught Sin City the other night. Whoa! Great flick! Definitely one to add to the collection.” 8:15:20 PM 9/11/05 “watched Sahara [yeah...I watched and drooled...shut up!!!!] I liked it alot...but I am maybe bias towards it. you know Matthew and all... then I watched Crash. Not sure why I rented it. I got curious. If I knew it was a movie about racism I prolly would've not rented it. BUT...I did...and I am actually glad I did. It was a good movie. Very real. so Sin City is really good? I was wondering about that. I always thought it maybe weird and boring. No?” 9:41:50 PM 9/11/05 “Sin City is anything but boring, G, however it is weird (in a good way---at least to me it was) and it is pretty violent too, though in a cartoonish way.” 9:47:58 PM 9/11/05 “just put this in my netflix queue...any family guy fans out there seen it?...is it good? ”11:41:16 AM 9/14/05 “I didn't think that is was released yet. End of Sept, maybe ?” 12:08:47 PM 9/14/05 “they say they've got it and it's available” 12:16:00 PM 9/14/05 “*** wink, wink, nudge, nudge *** I love Monty Python-- both the short skits and the movies. It's the absolute in silliness... :-) Plus, some of the humor is very cerebral at times... :-) My favorite is the Holy Grail. I think it's because I've always been a great fan of the Arthurian legends and have read (and seen) lots of different versions about King Arthur and the Knights of the round table... (By the way, the extended anniversary DVD has a Lego-version of the Camelot song that's absolutely hilarious.) Yes, it's silly, but for some reason, it tickles my funny bone... (One Arthurian movie I absolutely didn't like was First Night--I didn't like the casting of Richard Gere as Lancelot at all (way too wimpy!) ) I started watching "Arthur" and will have to give an opinion on that later.” 12:44:13 PM 9/14/05 “I love the Lego version! Plus the tutorial on how to make your own coconut "horse" is pretty damn funny too...” 12:46:33 PM 9/14/05 “clip clop clip clop clip clop clip clop....” 12:47:05 PM 9/14/05 “We found them.” 1:41:42 PM 9/14/05 Jump to Page << prev
