Party Monster- Cully McCulkin as a gay, colorful club kid? He was pretty good but Seth Green stole the show. If attention seeking drug attics are your thing it’s a great movie. It was alright.

Into the Cutt (?)- Not sure I got the name right because I have tried to push this turd of a movie from my memory. You know a movie’s bad when a fully nude Meg Ryan can’t even save it. Save your money.

Dicky Roberts- It wasn’t Joe Dirt but it’s still got some great parts that made me laugh. They did a “We Are the World” type of sing along with all the kid stars that is funny. Hearing Marcia Brady say the F word was worth the rental! LOL”

I watched all the alternate and deleted scenes. There was some interesting backstory, and they essentially eliminated part of the story, but the movie was still good without it.”

“Watched Open Range this weekend, I really liked it - Costner and Duvall were a great duo together. Good scenery too!

I loved Secondhand Lions - so did my kids - they want me to buy it, and I prolly will.”

“I watched Open Range last week sometime...typical loooooooong Costner fare. Well done in every aspect except pacing.

There is a benefit to that though. Because Costner includes so much backstory, it drops the number of times my sister-in-law asks "Why is he doing that?"”

“This weeks rentals were Kill Bill, The Last Samurai and Cheaper by the Dozen.

Kill Bill- Awesome! It's got all the great cheese factor of the Kung Fu Theater I watched a s a kid with the blood level kicked up to knee deep. The direction was unbelievable. And of course Umma was Umma. I have now decided to paint my Jeep yellow and have "Puzzy Wagon" painted in pink accross the back of it. LOL!

The Last Samurai- I don't buy many movies but htis is one I will buy. Everything about it was great. Great story. Great direction. Great scenery. Great everything.

Cheaper by the Dozen- Watched 10 minutes and turned it off. Crappy PG family film.”

“My family rented "Cheaper By The Dozen" week before last I think. It was a big hit with them, so I know that I would hate it, Steve Martin notwithstanding.

“Last night I watched Secret Window and Touching the Void.

Secret Window was a great movie and Johnny Depp was great too. His little, dark, offhand one liners made it funny.

Touching the Void was awesome. The camera and direction were second to none. As I watched these guys laying out in the elements for nearly a week it made me feel like such a puzzy for all the times I complained about being cold or tired on trips. LOL! BTW- if anyone is hiking with me and things get bad, I’m cutting’ the rope!”

“We didn't see it on DVD, but my wife and I watched 50 First Dates this weekend. We both really enjoyed it. I was surprised, not really looking forward to it, but there is enough sophomoric humor mixed in with the love story to make it plenty enjoyable.”
