“FINALLY, saw Million Dollar Baby. I kind of faught it since I thought it was a girl fighter looking for her father who never had anything to do with her and a real tear jerker, but it wasn't and I was wrong about the theme of the movie. It was an excellent movie and well deserving of winning an Oscar. I was told that it did not really involve fighting as much, but it did and the fighting sequences were great. I recommend this one.”

bunnyboiler, Catwoman got bad reviews and I think Halle Berry can't act her way out of a paper bag and is an idiot in her real life. Halle was on Ellen's talk show long ago showing her cat moves that took her months to learn from looking at clips of wild cats and getting lessons from someone. So she shows Ellen some moves and Ellen does them just like her w/no movie clips, no preparation and no professional trainer. Halle looked like an @ss.

I was surprised when Ellen asked Halle if her long hair was real. Halle had to say no. Even though I don't like Halle, I thought it was a tacky question. Maybe Ellen doesn't like her either?”

“"Raging Bull" was pretty good the first time I saw it. The fight scenes are intense; way worse than any real boxing I've seen. But when I tired to watch it a second time...well, let's just say that I have a hard time watching someone stupid screw up their life stupidly.

The main ideas you come away with from watching "Raging Bull":

1. Jake Lamotta sure could take a punch. His claim to fame was never being knocked down. He was beat a couple times, but never knocked down.

2. He was also a frickin' idiot.”

I'm so glad my mom taught me how to economize and shop to save a buck, but since I didn't grow up in the depression myself, I can save a buck, but still feel okay about spending some of it to have fun while I'm young and save some money for old age too.

Everything is persective. I lived in an immigrant neigbhborhood before I left to live in WA. I started getting rid of junk and put a 3 legged chair in front of my house and went to the store. I told my husband that it will be gone since immigrants will just repair it while well to do Americans toss it out.

We went up the street to grocery shop and the chair was gone in 15 minutes by the time we got back. I'm glad someone found it useful. When you have no chair, a 3 legged one is great. You can always add another leg instead of buying a whole new chair.”
