I saw Rumor Has It with Jennifer Aniston’s ass and Kevin Costner. Her ass was better he was. Worth a watch.

I watched Casanova with Heath Ledger. Funny and worth the rent.

The winner was Grandma’s Boy unrated version. Hilarious stoner humor. One funny quote happens between a young guy and Shirley Jones:

Jeff: Grace... I have something to confess.
Grace: What's that?
Jeff: [pauses] You were my first.
Grace: Really? Oh, that's sweet. You were my...
[thinks hard]
Grace: 3,000-something.
Jeff: [Raises hand to give a high five] Word up.”

Bloodryne- Great video game. Crappy movie. Low budget. Low quality. Horrible writing. Turned it off after 30 minutes.

White Dragon- Kung Fu at it's worst. Again, crappy writing. I hate when the dialogue doesn't fit the time period of the story. Using modern English in feudal China doesn't go well. Turnded it off after 15 minutes.

TransAmerica- Ding ding ding! We have a winner! A great movie with great actors and great story.”

Hated it. Probably good if you're a teenager and like potty mouth. The movie relied on potty-mouth humor too much. Essentially it was a coming-of-age movie done for the 5,000th time, only this time they up'd the age of the person coming of age.”

“Ultraviolet- A great movie! Yes it’s si-fi and yes it looks like 90% is green screen but it is so well done and the effects are great. The story is good as well.

Annapolis- This one was just OK. It’s one of those movies that has elements of every single movie like it that came before it. There was the Top Gun element, the Officer and a Gentleman element (I want your DOR Mayonnaise!), and a bit of Bring It On. Don’t waste your time.

David Chappell’s Block Party- Waste of time unless ya like rap music. The parts where he was hanging out in his home town of Yellow Springs (about 30 minutes away from me) were cool but the rest was not what you expect.


I also watched a Spanish movie called Tapas that was very good. One of those simple storiues about every day people.

Because I didn’t have anything to compare it to. As I said, I hated the series and never got to see much of it because they always ran the damn thing out of sequence and I could never get what the hell was going on. I thought the movie was well done visually and the story line was sharp for a si-fi movie. I liked it. Many times it depends on my mood at the time as to weather I like something.

Please don't tell me you thought Dune was a good movie? I'd have to completely re-evaluate.

I watched Sarina with George Clooney the other day also. When I saw it was based on Robert Baer’s book See No Evil I got real excited because that was a great book. It had very little to do with the book and was so disjointed time wise even I couldn’t follow what the hell was going on and my poor wife gave up about 15 minutes into it trying to keep all the people straight.”
