I know Wal-Mart used to carry versions of music CDs with the naughty words deleted. last edited: 4/06/06 5:41:22 PM” 5:36:47 PM 4/06/06 “I watched "Swimming Pool" last night. An interseting but slow moving movie. I do think I fell in love with Ludivine Sagnier. wow.” 11:03:14 AM 4/13/06 “Fun With Dick and Jane is out. It looks interesting as well as Narnia.” 2:12:53 PM 4/15/06 “LOL - I just saw your response CB. Actually, it was agressive-passive.” 3:01:32 PM 4/15/06 “Fun w/Dick and Jane was guaranteed to be in at Hollywood Video and it wasn't so we get to rent it for free. I still didn't watch Narnia. I may pick up Fun w/Dick and Jane and watch that for a laugh. It's good to laugh at least once a day.” 3:19:24 PM 4/16/06 “ped, aggressive/passive? That's a new on one me. Is that where you kick someone in the butt and then give them a hand up to get them up off the floor, LMAO!!!:)” 3:21:03 PM 4/16/06 “Watched Hostel. What a dumb ass movie. I had no idea backpacking in europe ment wearing cotton, #&%!$ing like rabbits, riding the train, walking 10 feet to a taxi, then 100 feet to a hostel. LOL Besides that I really didn't like it. Surprised, thought a quentin tarantino movie would be better.” 9:37:52 PM 5/07/06 “Nigal gave it two severed thumbs up, Gem. ;-)” 9:52:10 PM 5/07/06 “what ever you do, stay away from "A Sound of Thunder". Step on a single butterfly and now we have to deal with monkeyasaurus. And good lord, I have seen better green screen effects created in Microsoft Paint.” 10:09:14 PM 5/07/06 “do we have a Worst movies on DVD ever thread?” 10:32:34 PM 5/07/06 “Another good Bradbury story ruined on film?” 6:37:20 AM 5/08/06 “I watched a few good ones this weekend. I saw Rumor Has It with Jennifer Aniston’s ass and Kevin Costner. Her ass was better he was. Worth a watch. I watched Casanova with Heath Ledger. Funny and worth the rent. The winner was Grandma’s Boy unrated version. Hilarious stoner humor. One funny quote happens between a young guy and Shirley Jones: Jeff: Grace... I have something to confess. Grace: What's that? Jeff: [pauses] You were my first. Grace: Really? Oh, that's sweet. You were my... [thinks hard] Grace: 3,000-something. Jeff: [Raises hand to give a high five] Word up.” 3:46:28 PM 5/15/06 “that's funny cause i saw Jennifer Aniston Derailed this weekend...pretty good movie but hard to buy her in that role” 3:49:07 PM 5/15/06 “She's not a very good actor to begin with but her butt is her saving grace.” 3:51:23 PM 5/15/06 “I think the last movie I have seen is Dances with Wolves.” 3:51:31 PM 5/15/06 “i also saw the squid and the whale...pretty good but kinda weird, even for an independent film” 3:54:14 PM 5/15/06 “I saw The squid and the whale too. So so film. Need more info on Jennifer's most important asset. last edited: 5/15/06 4:00:05 PM” 3:58:45 PM 5/15/06 “I watched a few movies this weekend. Bloodryne- Great video game. Crappy movie. Low budget. Low quality. Horrible writing. Turned it off after 30 minutes. White Dragon- Kung Fu at it's worst. Again, crappy writing. I hate when the dialogue doesn't fit the time period of the story. Using modern English in feudal China doesn't go well. Turnded it off after 15 minutes. TransAmerica- Ding ding ding! We have a winner! A great movie with great actors and great story.” 7:43:33 AM 6/01/06 “i finally got around to watching the dukes of hazard last week, gag...what a horribly commercial titty flick...they really disgraced the tv series with this one also saw the constant gardener, that was pretty good...a political, conspiracy theory type of movie about drug companies and africa last edited: 6/01/06 7:48:33 AM” 7:47:09 AM 6/01/06 “Saw the 40 yr old Virgin this weekend. Hated it. Probably good if you're a teenager and like potty mouth. The movie relied on potty-mouth humor too much. Essentially it was a coming-of-age movie done for the 5,000th time, only this time they up'd the age of the person coming of age.” 7:50:09 AM 6/01/06 “"we can do it in the butt if you want tooooooooo" "'but if i want to' what?"” 3:07:25 PM 6/01/06 “"Ooooh, do me yo-yo master I want you to do me cuz you're the yo-yo guy..."” 4:39:14 PM 6/01/06 “Elizabethtown Two thumbs up! Kirsten Dunst is cute as can be. Music wasn't bad either.” 5:24:20 PM 6/01/06 “I watched the first half of the documentary "The Long Way 'round". Riding motorcycles from London to Ny thru Asia. I was happily suprised; quite good.” 10:49:47 AM 6/12/06 1-10 scale “Underworld II: 6.5 Date Movie: 1” 4:15:38 PM 6/12/06 “I rented the Unrated version of Date Movie. I think I chuckled a couple of times. I give it a 4.” 5:36:34 PM 6/12/06 “Ultraviolet- A great movie! Yes it’s si-fi and yes it looks like 90% is green screen but it is so well done and the effects are great. The story is good as well. Annapolis- This one was just OK. It’s one of those movies that has elements of every single movie like it that came before it. There was the Top Gun element, the Officer and a Gentleman element (I want your DOR Mayonnaise!), and a bit of Bring It On. Don’t waste your time. David Chappell’s Block Party- Waste of time unless ya like rap music. The parts where he was hanging out in his home town of Yellow Springs (about 30 minutes away from me) were cool but the rest was not what you expect. I also watched a Spanish movie called Tapas that was very good. One of those simple storiues about every day people. last edited: 7/05/06 7:34:51 AM” 7:31:05 AM 7/05/06 “Nigal, see if you can rent "Babette's Feast". It's a foreign film with subs....but pretty challenging.” 7:36:51 AM 7/05/06 “i wondered about UV. it looks like one of those you have to like sci-fi and superhero to like it, but if you do, you love it then again, aeon flux looked good and it blew” 10:44:34 AM 7/05/06 “Aeon flux was unwatchable. The old MTV version was much better.” 10:53:23 AM 7/05/06 “I thought Aeon flux was well done. I couldn't stand the eMpTyV version.” 10:56:35 AM 7/05/06 “If they had used a more authentic costume for the lead instead of the PCed downed one, it would have been watchable. ;-)” 11:02:58 AM 7/05/06 “it was PCed downed so as not to offend the right-wing christinazis, who ruin culture at every turn” 12:12:02 PM 7/05/06 “Nawwwwwwww silly boy, it was PCed down so not to offend the Feminazis.” 12:30:47 PM 7/05/06 Just for C!B! “ ”12:46:31 PM 7/05/06 “how about it was both. on the topic of showing too much skin, the feminazis and the christinazis make strange bedfellows” 1:23:06 PM 7/05/06 “Aeon flux: tsk... night watch: russian horror.hahahaha! icould've been good, but it wasn't the hills have eyes unrated: gross, but not really scary. failure to launch: I love matthew. great movie” 1:41:28 PM 7/05/06 “"night watch: russian horror.hahahaha! icould've been good, but it wasn't" Awe! Say it ain't so Gem! I've been waiting to see this one. The trailor looks awesome.” 2:30:32 PM 7/05/06 “NIGAL??? How the frick could you like Aeon Flux? It sucked hard...really, really hard. Please don't tell me you thought Dune was a good movie? I'd have to completely re-evaluate. We just rented Audition. God it was awful. I’ve now seen four Japanese “horror” flicks. The artsy-fartsy critics keep telling me how good they are. The artsy-fartsy critics obviously don’t share my taste in movies. Deadman (oldy but goody w/Johnny Depp). I LOVED IT!!! I wonder what the artsy-fartsy critics thought of that one?” 2:33:26 PM 7/05/06 ““How the frick could you like Aeon Flux? It sucked hard...really, really hard.” Because I didn’t have anything to compare it to. As I said, I hated the series and never got to see much of it because they always ran the damn thing out of sequence and I could never get what the hell was going on. I thought the movie was well done visually and the story line was sharp for a si-fi movie. I liked it. Many times it depends on my mood at the time as to weather I like something. Please don't tell me you thought Dune was a good movie? I'd have to completely re-evaluate. I hate Dune in all it’s incarnations. Slowest damn story ever written. We just rented Audition. God it was awful. I’ve now seen four Japanese “horror” flicks. The artsy-fartsy critics keep telling me how good they are. The artsy-fartsy critics obviously don’t share my taste in movies. Yeah, the Japanese horror movie has come and gone. They can only get ya with old tired jump scene so many times. Deadman (oldy but goody w/Johnny Depp). I LOVED IT!!! I wonder what the artsy-fartsy critics thought of that one?” I liked this one too. Depp is one of my favorite actors and is way under rated.” 2:47:52 PM 7/05/06 “well, you may need to watch it. I didn't like it. First...it's pretty boring & low budget, second, well, there was just something missing, not sure how to describe it. I wasn't surprised by how it ended. Actually it was pretty easy to figure out. oh, also...if you don't pay attention you'll get the time thing wrong. I say thing because I don't wanna say too much. Some people say it didn't make much sense, which it did, if you know what's going on, but it made no sense why it made sense. LOL I can't describe it. watch it!” 3:07:29 PM 7/05/06 “LOL @ Gem” 3:10:36 PM 7/05/06 “well hey! It just left me feeling empty. maybe that's best how to describe it darnit. [trying not to cuss anymore..i'm gonna be good from now on]” 3:12:27 PM 7/05/06 “I'll have to check it out Gem. Thanks. I watched Sarina with George Clooney the other day also. When I saw it was based on Robert Baer’s book See No Evil I got real excited because that was a great book. It had very little to do with the book and was so disjointed time wise even I couldn’t follow what the hell was going on and my poor wife gave up about 15 minutes into it trying to keep all the people straight.” 3:15:05 PM 7/05/06 “"It just left me feeling empty. maybe that's best how to describe it darnit." Awe! That's so sad sounding. So it's kind of like going on a date with Stove Stomper then? LOL!” 3:17:26 PM 7/05/06 “Nigal, that's sweet of you to ask but you just ain't my type. Sorry.” 3:20:32 PM 7/05/06 “i wonder how nigal knows that. huh?” 3:21:16 PM 7/05/06 “i am watching end of the spear right now. so far so good if you into this sort of thing.” 3:25:09 PM 7/05/06 ““i wonder how nigal knows that. huh?” Some of the boyz around TT told me. Heehee!” 3:27:46 PM 7/05/06 Jump to Page << prev
