Man, those pre-quel star wars movies were really lame.

Hey tech, it may have just been me. It was kind of the misfit family idea that has me saying that.

CB I'll check Rushmore out.

My wife and I just watched Lucky # Sleven, 4 thumbs up. As the cover says, a lot of Pulp Fiction, some The Usual Suspects, and a little of The Professional.

Just watched The Black Dahlia.
Dreck! Dreck! Dreck!
Scarlett Johansson is so one dimentional it actually belittles her earlier performances.
The story line is disjointed and the sound editing inferior.
On the plus side; Josh Hartnett is pretty as usual and Hilary Swank proves that skill can overcome a poor script.

watched The Convenant last night. I guess it wasn't bad. There wasn't really a lot of action or guts, or other interesting stuff. Not sure why I sort of liked it.

best phrase on the movie:

dude: "whatcha looking at you fag?"
other dude: "the thing between your legs, it sorta looks like a #&%!$ but smaller"

ROFLMAO!

The Descent.

I went to the theater to watch this piece of work. I got a new 60" HD Sony with surround and the experience is fantastic. A good sub-woofer makes all the difference when watching this movie. Turning friends and family onto this movie, I've now watched it four times. I think this is classic horror. I may buy it.

It's the best scary movie I've seen since the Alien(s) movies. That's saying a lot considering those two are my benchmarks for scary movies.

I must be the only person on the planet that enjoyed Miami Vice.

I have a confession to make. I am now a full blown Sapranoes junky. My wife and I started from the first season and it's very addicting.

Yea, I'm waiting for the final season of HBO's Sopranos myself.

(I've been reading Nigal's posts for so long now, I can figure out his version of English) ;-)

About 10 people told me I should watch The Descent, most people really seemed to like it. I couldn't get into it at all, though! I didn't like/believe any of the characters, and the only part I found vaguely scary was when the girl got stuck in the narrow passage the very first time, near the beginning. I bet it would be different to see it in the theatre, though...movies are usually a lot scarier for me there, than watching them at home.

OMG! I just googled MILF and got *PORN*, heehehee. I never knew about MILFs.

We rented Nacho Libre the other week. It sucked so bad we couldn't finishh it. Abby started watching it w/ us and keeps on moaning about how much she wants to see the rest of it. Is it worth a second attempt?

Viggo adds to the entertainment value of any movie he's in...he's good looking and he can act. I also like the female lead in that movie (don't know her name) - she was another movie I liked a lot, which also starred Tim Daly (yum!)

Now the Lake House had Keanu Reeves in it and that detracted from the movie...his voice is suited better for Matrix movies, not love stories...I had to quit listening to it...

wounded knee you ignorant slut!

lost is the best show on tv! battlestar is the best sci-fi around!

alot of modern audiences dont have the patience for serialized drama anymore. everybody is into these wrapped up in an hour crime dramas. but i think shows like 24 and lost are changing that
