I can't do links from school but if you got to www.mapquest.com you can get a map of where Millbrook, NJ is....

Its about 15-20 minutes North of Blairstown, NJ if that helps....

I am not sure if I am on the same page here as you, but when i used to live in the Poconos, I used to go up to a place north of Blairstown, NJ. It was north of there and there is a camp (I believe a scout camp) up there that was called No-Be-Bosco. As a matter of fact, they filmed Friday the 13th up there. Anyway, there was an abandoneed town up there and a restaurant en route called (oh crap, can't think of it - something Inn). Is this the area you are talking about or did I type all this for nothing?

Well..the abandoned town was/is Walpack and the restaraunt that I put a link above for is the Walpack Inn....

Millbrook is just at the bottom of the after going past the AT from Blairstown........

That's it. The Walpack Inn. I haven't been there in over ten years. I love that area up there. At least I used to. Unmaintained roads were fun as hell and some pretty fun walking up there too...

I almost made a mistake of dropping a letter in the mailbox on the main street through Walpack. Until I saw cobwebs going from the handle to the box!

I'd like to go back up there, now that you brought it up. Problem is, this weekend I am taking the Boy Scouts a an overnight and we have our Camporee coming up in two weeks. That, and moving to the new house at the end of the month puts a damper on any other trips for now.

I think that I will be there with my parents up from Florida and my kids. We were going to go on Saturday but with the rain predicted, we may go on Sunday instead.

Hey Addy...Dare and I were thinking of meeting up with Bobo and the Twigster at High Point SP on Sunday. That's not too far away from Millbrook, is it? Maybe we'll meet 'em there instead, since they'll most likely be on their way out by the time we get to the trailhead. hmmmm...

it would be great to see you and your better half. It has been a while. :)

So Twiggie is really going to be down this way??? How far south of High Point are they hiking?

Millbrook is about an hour away from Duttonville.
