FIREWIRE CARD-Ipod...PC help?

“Okay,I got a new ipod but i need to get a firewire card installed on my pc to transfer my song files...Anyway these cards are like 30-100 in the store or you can get em all day on ebay for 6-10 bux????What gives?What do i have to look out for on the card as far as compatibility with my pc?I see there is something about internal and external connectors??What am i missing here?Check this firewirecard!.Lemme know what ya think.Thanx for any help/ideas....”

“With E-bay you have no guarentee that it will work. Check these out at New Egg.com They have some for $15 and under. I'm assuming the I-Pod came with it's own cable too.”

“Umm can't you just transfer then via USB, since it is not going to be something that you use much?

Or just burn them onto a disc?”
