Q: How many TT'ers does it take to change a light bulb?

Answers:
1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been
changed

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the
light bulb could have been changed differently

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs

27 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs

41 to correct spelling/grammar flames

6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ...

another 6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is
"lamp"

27 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs

12 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they
cannot handle the light bulb controversy

2 to post reasons why the light bulb burning out is the result of a government conspiracy.

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

43 to say "do a search on light bulbs"

1 Troll to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again

and....
1 to quote an obscure babylon 5 referance

"but in the old days we had 100's of servants who would leap to change 1000's of light bulbs at our slightest whim..."

It's certainly more dim here than it used to be. Where have all the old-time lightbulb-changing TTers gone?

Soup?
It is a little early in the morning to be going all Martha Stewart on us.

It's only good if the consistancy is right. I hate soup that's not soupy enough, or too soupy for that matter. And chicken noodle soup is out, too many instances of eatting chicken noodle and then puking my guts up because I was sick.

So, to sum up: Soup is only good food if it's made right and it's not chicken noodle.

There is nothing funny about the wholesome goodness of soup. As a matter of fact, my vote for president will depend on wheather he/she is a fan of soup.

Three licks according to some owl, but I beg to differ.

I don't consider soup a meal unless crackers or bread is served.

LMAO, but you forgot the 1 who will complain about the intensity of the bulb and vow to leave TT forever (or six weeks, whichever comes first).

Does anyone else hate it when it just starts to get dark and everyone brings out his/her flashlights and headlamps and ruins your night vision so you can't see the stars (or anything else that is not being directly illuminated)? One of the parts of being in the backcountry at night is that it is dark.

off topic post.
And how many to complain that "lightbulbs" unless germane to headlamps . . .is an off topic subject!

This is a stupid thread. I'm leaving TT forever. Or until I pull up the next thread, whichever comes sooner.

Not only complain "OFF-TOPIC" on the light bulb thread but start a new thread to make the same point.

The number of TT'ers it takes to change a light bulb is unimportant. What is important is to remember that dogs do not belong in the backcountry.

LNT = LDH.
